06:30               Pick up from the hotel in Bangkok by van go to check-in at River City                                Complex.

07:30               Depart by join tour coach to Ayutthaya province.

09:15               Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace Bang Pa-In Palace comprises a collection of buildings of various ages and various architectural styles surrounded by a lake. Originally built by King Prasattong in Ayutthaya era, Bang Pa-In was the places for the kings in the Ayutthaya period to visit and enjoy, but it was let unoccupied when Bangkok became the capital. Its importance was reestablished when King Rama IV and King Rama V restored the palace, and some new buildings were built.

Visit Wat Pa Si Sanphet. This is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and the original from which the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok has been copied. Three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas were built during the 15th century to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.

                        Visit Wat Maha That  The Heart and Soul of City from Artifacts and the style of the Pagoda, we believe that Wat Maha That was built before the Ayutthaya Period or around the 14th Century. One of the images which were excavated by the Fine Art Department was a Buddha Image in the Sitting Attitude (sitting with drop down legs). This image belonged to the Lopburi Period. The Pagodas are from the Bayon Style or Bayon Period (compared to Khmer culture) which are built with late rite.

                        Visit Wat Na Phra Mane Remains in perfect condition, as it was used as the Burmese headquarters.  The splendid Golden Buddha, dressed in regal attire, was placed in the temple along with the three thousand-year-old green stone carved Buddha.  Both are considered as extremely valuable national relics.

                        Visit Wat Lokayasutharam has a mysterious past, whereby its origins are unknown. The temple enshrines a Largest Reclining Buddha Image which was built during the early period of Ayutthaya legend.  The other two ancient temples, as well as the ruined site also surround the compound area.

12:30               Depart Wat Lokayasutharam for the River Sun Cruise at Wat Chong Lom Pier in Nontaburi Province.

                        Thai and International buffet lunch.

                        Afternoon – Coffee Break.

                        En route enjoy scenery and the real Thai life style along the Chao Phraya River.  Arriving at the city, pass the Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn).

16:30               Arrive at the River City Complex then transfer to hotel.

 

Remarks:         Palace and Temples are sacred places, please dress politely. No Shorts, no sleeveless shirts.  Hat, cap and umbrella may helpful.

Certain buildings may close on holiday and during Royal Ceremonies.

Camera may not used in the buildings.

Wear any comfort walking shoes. (Easy to put on and off)
